Here at CRAVE Restaurant, we pride ourselves on providing a unique and memorable dining experience for all our valued guests. As we strive to deliver the best possible guest experience, we are always happy to accomodate to diners’ needs. Earlier this month the CRAVE Galleria Team helped a guest, John Tsuchiya, propose to his now fiance! See below for his touching note and further details about the proposal:
To whom it may concern,
My name is John Tsuchiya and I recently proposed to my girlfriend at the Edina Galleria location! I wanted send both of you a note and let you know how grateful I am for what your company was able to help me do and the amazing service that your staff delivered.
I have been a CRAVE regular since the restaurant opened and it was the location of my first date with Kayla over 2 ½ years ago. It is a special place for both of us because it is where we fell in love and, because of your company, it is now the place where we have more fun memories together. I was blown away by the willingness of your staff to help and cannot express how much it meant to me. I was able to do something that many people told me would be impossible or unrealistic but your company and team made it possible.
Here is a quick list of the people I wanted to recognize for their exceptional service and going the extra mile for me.
Ø Krista Vanmoorlehem – Krista was so helpful! Reserved the tables, placed my photographer, all logistics planning. She was outstanding!!
Ø Chris Liskiewicz – Once Chris got ‘approval’ to do this he had emailed me, created a proof, and sent me the proof for final approval within 24 hours. Wow!
Ø Kristi Ryan – My first point of contact and she was so fun! She nicknamed this “operation menu” She is so cool!
The plan: The plan was to have a special menu created that had one small tweak that she would have to find. I got Kayla to the restaurant without having any idea what was happening (just a normal night out). We were sat at the exact table that we had our first date at; then we were handed the ‘special menus’. It took her a minute to find it but when she noticed it and read the ingredients I got down on one knee and proposed. She said Yes and the entire restaurant started to clap and cheer. Thank you for allowing this to happen and for having such thoughtful, caring, and dedicated staff. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite moments ever and CRAVE made it possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I work for Target HQ and am downtown every weekday. Please let me know if you are ever in downtown and find yourself with a little time. I would love to thank you in person, buy you a Starbucks, and give you a tour of Target. “As a Bartender at CRAVE Restaurant in Cincinnati, I am pleased to see all the new vibrant recipes for the new menu. From the hand-made specialty cocktails to the mouth-watering culinary creations coming out of the kitchen, the new fall/winter flavors make you want to try them all!
The cocktails at CRAVE are different from other restaurants because the time and care put into making all of our ingredients in-house, from the purees to the liquor infusions. Our feature infusion here at CRAVE this winter is a Courvoisier infused with brown sugar and mission figs. Infusing the Courvoisier makes it super smooth with a caramel finish that is simply fantastic. Having the ability to make infusions is one of the things that sets us apart and is a huge benefit of stopping by CRAVE Restaurant in Cincinnati. Few-to-no other restaurants downtown make their own Infusions.
Great cocktails and food aside, the most exciting thing to me about the new menu is our wonderful new beer selection. We have everything from an Imperial Stout brewed by Oskar Blues to a Rye Siason brewed right here in Cincinnati by our very own Blank Slate Brewery, and every style of beer in between. We have seasonal beers such as a Pumpkin Porter and Winterhook from RedHook Brewing. Having this large selection of beers enables us to pair the perfect beer for beer drinkers with the perfect meal from CRAVE. Come down and try a pairing of your own and, be sure to sample some of our new menu items!”

I wanted to take the time to give you some feedback on our dinning experience last night. Our family showed up 35 minutes early for our reservation but ended up late being seated. We did not feel the person on the desk communicated or treated us as a customer.
However, your Gen Manager, Dawnette Meadows, stepped in and made all the difference in the world. I have been in customer service my entire career and her handling of our situation was impeccable. She listened and reacted very well, not just once to cure the issue but also followed through and clearly assigned a very talented waiter to assure we had a very positive experience. And it worked, our evening was extremely pleasant and memorable.
Her response resulted in my decision to not use a 10% off coupon we brought with us. I felt her handling was so unusual in today’s business environment, I wanted to make a gesture to show my appreciation and thought it would cover part of your cost of the courtesies she extended. The result is we are a even stronger patron then before and will continue to hold our annual family get together at your establishment. Better yet, I am inclined to be the reverse of the normal and promote the places I enjoy and respect 10 times over the negative places.
Bottom line is our family will be a positive supporter of Crave. Thank her for taking the time to defuse and turn around our situation!
I just came back to Ft. Lauderdale after our long wedding adventure weekend for our son and new daughter-in-law’s wedding weekend. I want to thank you for the gracious hospitality you gave us in answering all of our questions.
I was very nervous to make a large number of reservations from a restaurant sight unseen. People who know me know that I am from the old school of good character and expect things run in a certain way I was more than pleasantly surprised at the good service we received as well as the quality of food. The guests all raved about the food and said it was the best rehearsal dinner mean they have ever had.
Even your black tablecloths set the mood to make my few table decorations look more elegant one each table.
Again, thank you for beginning a wonderful weekend perfectly.
My name is Cari, and I’m sending you this email to let you know what a great job Elizabeth and Randy at your Orlando restaurant did tonight!! Bravo to them.
I visited your restaurant on Dec 11th with my family. My brother came to visit me as a surprise. We were a party of 14, and I called around to see who could accommodate us at such short notice. I called your restaurant and Randy answered the called. Right away he told me to come in, he was going to have a party of 50 at 11 am, but if we came before or after that time he would sit us down.
As promised we were sat and the service was spectacular. I was so impressed.
I work at Epcot, for a company name Guerlain we are part of the LVMH group. I was having the Director of Fragrance coming in today to take the team out for dinner. I had reservations at another restaurant in the area I cancelled and called Randy the next day and made reservations for tonight. We spoke about what I needed and he was very accommodating.
Tonight we got to the restaurant Randy was there to greet us and our area was set just as promised. Lovely, but our director thought it was too small for our team (we were nine). We asked if we could move to another area. Elizabeth and Randy found the solution and it was perfect
Our server was attentive to our needs and requests. I believe his name was Andrew.
Overall the evening was perfect, the entire team had a wonderful time. Now you have 8 new customers!
So being in the same business of customer service I give Elizabeth, Randy and Andrew a perfect score of 10!!!

We’ve decided to begin posting some of the feedback we’ve received online. This feedback is critical in providing us details about our staff, our menus, and everything related to our business based on the individual experiences our customers have coming to CRAVE Restaurant.
Here is a recent email we received from a guest who stopped by for Happy Hour.
My friend and I stopped in for your happy hour tonight (first time at this location) and I accidentally spilled my “Cosmo” and broke the martini glass too. Out of no where came help from one of your staff (Elizabeth). She was so cool and calm and immediately ordered us both another drink on the house and helped us clean up the spill.
She was very professional and genuinely concerned about us. I was totally thankful and impressed. I will definitely return to your establishment. The bartenders were nice and helpful as well. Thank you for an enjoyable happy hour which could have turned out differently.
